Homecoming

Standing before the land he used to call his homeland... now, after 1500 years a land he has to protect, even though everything he held dear is long gone... except for the mountains and rivers.

I really wanted to paint a background like this, I love such scenery.. and it felt just right to use it for my beloved OC, Ilmarinen the last of the Dragonkind.
The background was highly inspired by a picture I created with Artbreeder, an amazing web app that can help a lot with inspiration!
