Hey everybody ,

I have question for the overweight people --how many of you drink a lot of soft drinks/coke pepsi mountain dew etc etc ??

I read that tha vast majority of people who are overweight drink sodas a lot and there is a sweetner addative that tricks your stomach into never feeling full.
In turn you over eat b/c of the addative -high fructose ? sorry kind of brain dead from reading too much.

I got a response unlike i expected but yes i could well be 'ignorant' about some of the peoples health problems.
A doctor friend of mine says almost most all things overweight people say is BS -thyroid -now slow thyroid etc..
Also i don't beleive for two seconds that someone can eat right -exercise and be obese -tell that to some gullable dumbass not me !
Look back at old pictures -very few of them were fat so saying all the sudden everybody is fat do to health problems is BS the vast majority of the time.

The point of the radio broadcast was that in 20 more years there would be so many obese people that it will be a major health crisis.

One guy kept it real and admitted he was overweight from eating too much and lack of exercise -everybody else is in denial.

You ask ? why do i care --tell me don't worry about it --well it does affect me -i have almost no women to choose from.
The ones i like are all but impossible to find so i hope i can get a little compassion from the board memebrs here on this topic.....

For your information, I drink soda on occasion, not regularly. I don't blame my thyroid or anything else for my weight. I take full responsiblity. You can believe what you want, but I do try very hard to take care of myself and my doctor is actually very happy with what I've accomplished for myself over the last 5 years.

Technically, if you are 20 lbs or more overweight, you are considered obese. As far as you having no women to chose from, that's your fault. You appear to be concerned with just the visual aspect and not the substance of what really makes up a person. A woman has curves. If you choose to be alone because the women around you are not up to your visual standards, you may very well end up alone, but that would have absolutely nothing to do with their weight and everything to do with your attitude.

Also i'm not sure but i don't think 20lbs. is considered obese.

I'm not alone sometimes i wish i were -i'm very active biking-hiking riding motorcycles etc i meet lots of women but more and more as time goes by they keep getting bigger and bigger as stated on the radio.
What i'm getting at is where is it all going to end?
? Everybody riding little buggies around b/c they're too heavy to walk ??

I met a girl while eating at wendys today -very slender when i got to the counter to be waited on -she spoke w/an eastern european accent.
I have met a few women who come here from poland czech republic etc and do not remember any being overweight.
I truly think the crap sweetner in drinks is causing people weight problems.I just don't like anything sweet myself so maybe that makes me lucky and keeps me slim.
I wish that tomorrow after breakfast when i get ready to do something like bike hike run or something there were lots of people out there to do it with-but there aren't !
So tomorrow i won't even bother asking my NSA she stays slim w/diets starving and partying.
I try to tell her [execise] --come on you'll feel good once you get going --to no avail .

And when she says " i have to lose some weight " i say yes you do -->not -no honey your cottage cheese thighs look great -hey maybe i'll start laying around and get some big thighs and flabby belly to.
We can do it together -and when we're in public you can remember that you should love me for what's inside -don't worry about the fact that i use to look good -that shouldn't matter --right.

I wish people would say --you know i think i will give up sodas and get out and get active.Fuck sitting around -i will get plenty of that when i'm old ..
And in several weeks they could look around and say -damn girl/dude things are-a-changing !
Next thing you know some attractive guy/girl is wanting to rock it w/you -and you're feeling good and it -not just saying it -meaning it.

The sweetener you're referring to is aspartame, and it does, indeed, stimulate carbohydrate cravings, along with a recorded 92 other nasty little side-effects....and it's addictive.

So, people drink sodas sweetened with this insidious little chemical because they think it will help with weight-loss. It creates a need for more carbohydrates, they put on weight and continue to drink it.

It's a marketing dream ... but a consumer's nightmare.

But you didn't mention the worst......aspartame poisoning when the aspartame in your body breaks down into methanol, and gives you nerve and muscle poisoning. I have experienced it, and it is not something you want, but I was drinking 6 or more a day.
However the body cannot handle or process ANY methanol.
