Reminds of a true story, in Stockton, CA. They had this program to teach dropouts etc how to be able to work in construction. This guy was on the roof of a building that was being converted into a City Hall Annex, and we supposedly nailing decking boards down.
I was there and heard this scream. It turned out that when he swung the hammer back he hit himself in the head and nearly knocked himself out. They had to take him to the hospital.

I can not confirm or deny that I may have been the recipient of - shall we say - top-notch acting skills on rare occasion, but I'd say my batting average is damn high.
